Why providers switch to Tendaroo.

A straight, evidenced comparison with Vertex360 — so you can decide with facts, not marketing. We only make comparisons we can back up.

Claims substantiated, evidence on file Based on an independent trial Verified 07/07/2026

Here's what we do differently — and why it matters for your registration and your cash flow.

Everywhere else on this site we talk only about what we do. On this page we compare directly, because switching is a big decision and you deserve the detail. Every row below reflects our own hands-on evaluation of Vertex360 — the current platform many providers are leaving — with the evidence kept on file. Where something is an estimate, we say so.

Reportable-incident deadlines

Basis: 7-day trial, incidents module.

A live 24-hour and 5-business-day countdown arms the moment an incident is marked reportable — on the incident, the register and your dashboard — and notifies the right people automatically.
Statutory timeframes appear as static educational text on the incident wizard. Whether an incident is reportable is a manual radio button that can be set days later; no countdown appears anywhere.

Working with no signal

Basis: airplane-mode test, real device, app v2.24.24.

Offline-first. The plan, medications, clock-in, notes and incidents all capture in a dead spot and sync when signal returns — with a banner that always shows what's waiting.
The worker app has no offline capability. In airplane mode the home, schedule, timesheets and participant screens go blank — with no offline indicator and no message explaining why.

Claim accuracy

Basis: 7-day trial, invoicing & claims.

Every claim line is checked before it's lodged — identity, NDIS-number shape, item validity, units, duplicates, plan window, price cap and budget — then the NDIA remittance imports and reconciles each line.
The claim file exports with no pre-validation and no remittance import. In our trial the PACE bulk-payment file generated with an empty RegistrationNumber — a guaranteed rejection — and zero warnings.

Rostering against budget

Basis: 7-day trial, rostering.

Remaining funding shows right on the shift and decrements as you enter hours, with an over-service warning at publish — so you never roster into an empty budget.
Rostering shows no budget context. Even with the "link rostering with Core funding" toggle on, publishing a shift moved $0.00 against the plan.

Real signatures

Basis: 7-day trial, service agreements.

Submit is blocked until the agreement is signed or a reason is recorded, and every signature embeds who signed, when, and on what device in the PDF.
A service agreement submitted with both signature pads blank. The worker app then displayed "Participant Signature: N/A" beside a signature date — an unsigned agreement stamped as if signed.

Family / nominee access

Basis: 7-day trial, participants & roles.

A dedicated, consent-scoped portal for guardians and nominees — this week's appointments, goal progress and documents to sign — with Family/Nominee a first-class role from day one.
The only external path for a family member is an emailed form link with an expiry. The role model exposes just two portal types, so a family or nominee login can't exist.

Getting started & terms

Basis: published terms & in-app plans page.

$0 setup, free migration, month-to-month with no exit fees, and every price published in the open — on the site and in the app.
Published terms include a $199 onboarding fee, $3/file data migration, and an annual minimum term with an early-termination fee. The in-app plans page showed no prices during our trial.

How we back this up. Every claim above reflects our own hands-on evaluation of Vertex360 during an independent 7-day trial (evaluated 07/07/2026, worker app v2.24.24), with evidence kept on file, and from Vertex360's own published terms. Comparative claims are made in line with the Australian Consumer Law — factual and substantiated. Software changes: if you spot something that's since been updated, tell us and we'll correct it. Figures marked as estimates are for comparison, not quotes.

Don't take our word for it

The best comparison is your own data.

Start a free trial, import a handful of participants, and try the three moments that decide it: report an incident and watch the clock arm, roster a shift and see the budget draw down, and build a claim that's checked before it's lodged. No credit card, no sales call.

Arm a statutory clock

Mark an incident reportable and watch the countdown start on submit.

Roster against a real budget

See remaining funds on the shift and a warning before you over-service.

Check a claim before lodging

Try to lodge a line with a missing field — we stop you and say why.

Bring your own data and compare it yourself.
