Terms of Service
The terms most software buries, out in the open. No lock-in, no surprise fees, and your data stays yours — written to be read.
Last updated 21 July 2026 · These terms govern your use of Tendaroo.
In plain English
- No lock-in. Month-to-month, cancel any time, and export all your data whenever you want — no onboarding, migration or exit fees, ever.
- Try it free. A 21-day trial with no credit card.
- Fair pricing. You pay per active participant, and we hold your price for 12 months.
- We never hold your records hostage. If billing lapses, your data goes read-only — it is never deleted while you're in the retention window.
1 · The agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between SaaSForest Infotech Private Limited (“Tendaroo”, “we”, “us”) and the organisation that signs up (“you”). By creating an account or using Tendaroo, you agree to these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to bind it. Together with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, this is the whole agreement between us.
2 · The service & plans
Tendaroo is a provider-management platform for Australian NDIS providers, delivered as a web app, a companion mobile app, and related services. We offer Free, Core and Pro plans; what each includes and what it costs is shown on our pricing page. We improve the product continually and may add, change or retire features, without materially reducing the core service you're paying for during your billing term.
3 · Free trial
New organisations get a 21-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial you can choose a paid plan, or continue on the Free plan where it's available. We'll never auto-charge you off the back of a trial without you choosing a plan first.
4 · Fees & billing
- Per active participant. Paid plans are metered on your active participants, priced in graduated bands with no cliffs. You only pay for who you actually support.
- How you pay. Billing is monthly (or annually at a 10% discount) by card or bank debit, processed securely by Stripe. Fees are in AUD and exclusive of GST unless stated.
- Price hold. We hold your per-participant price for 12 months from sign-up. Annual plans are pro-rata refundable if you leave early.
- No hidden fees. No onboarding fee, no migration fee, no per-file charge, and no exit fee.
5 · No lock-in — your data is yours
You own the data you put into Tendaroo. You can export a full copy at any time — structured data plus a human-readable pack — at no charge. We help you move in for free, and we'll help you move out the same way. Leaving is a feature, not a fight.
6 · Your responsibilities
You remain the NDIS-regulated party and the organisation responsible for the personal information you manage in Tendaroo. You agree to:
- use Tendaroo lawfully, and collect and handle participant and worker data with the consents and authority you're required to have;
- keep your account secure — manage your users and their roles, and keep two-factor sign-in on for anyone who can change settings or export sensitive data;
- make sure the information you enter is accurate, and that you're entitled to enter it.
7 · Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to break, probe or overload the platform, no reselling or sharing access outside your organisation, and no uploading of malware or content you have no right to store. If you find a security issue, tell us at security@tendaroo.com — we run a real disclosure process.
8 · Availability & support
We work hard to keep Tendaroo available and fast, with monitoring and a published status page, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service — maintenance and the occasional incident happen. Support is included on all paid plans during Australian business hours, and the offline app is designed so your workers keep working even when the network doesn't.
9 · Privacy & data processing
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, and we act as your data processor under a Data Processing Agreement that forms part of these terms. Your data stays in Australia, and we never sell it or use care data to train AI.
10 · Intellectual property
We own Tendaroo — the software, design and brand. You own your data. Using the service doesn't transfer our IP to you, or yours to us. If you send us feedback or ideas, we're grateful, and we may use them to improve the product without obligation.
11 · Non-payment & suspension
If a payment fails, we'll let you know and give you time to fix it. If it stays unpaid, your account moves to read-only — you and your team can still view and export everything, you just can't make changes until billing is current. We will not delete your records to force payment while you're within the retention window. Deletion never happens as a billing lever.
12 · Term, exit & offboarding
These terms run for as long as you use Tendaroo. You can cancel any time from your account. When you leave, we deliver a full export, hold your data for a 90-day safety window, and then crypto-shred your organisation's encryption keys so the data can no longer be read. Your ongoing 7-year record-keeping duty transfers to you with the export, as set out in the DPA. We may suspend or end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice where we reasonably can.
13 · Warranties & liability
Tendaroo is provided on a commercial basis, and nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Subject to those rights, the service is provided “as is”, we don't warrant it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and — to the extent the law allows — our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
14 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and the law change. We'll post the new version here with a fresh date, and give reasonable notice of material changes by email or in-app. If a change materially disadvantages you, you're free to leave — with your data — before it takes effect.
15 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. We'll always try to sort out any issue with you directly and in good faith first.
